I watched some of these parades on the NDTV Indian news channel. :)

When we had to get vehicles parade pretty we used synthetic brake fluid on the paint and tires to make them look like that. Not exactly what it was designed for but hey, it works.

Indian Republic day on 26th Jan hey I got somthing in common with them :smug:
