Deck Gun bad weather unusual behaviour

I was returning form a mission , 1 torpedo left, bad weather, rain 15 m wind, heavy fog, when I run into a heavy cargo ship, just to be sure I aim for the engines, hit them but it doesn't sink, so I decided to wait for the weather to change, 2 days later it improves, 8 mt/s wind, still heavy fog, my navigator claims it wasn't raining, but it was (heavy), (I have modified the deck gun to 10 mts, 0,8 rain), I manned the deck gun, fire two shots, and then my gunmen deserted me, and couldn't finish the boat, I decided to save and exit, modified the settings again : 15,1 , reload and again the same story two shots and the gun resets, and the watch officer claims that the weather is to rough, anyone has seen this before ?.

I managed to sunk the ship but it tooks 4 days of waiting, but it was worth it, in the middle of the night a c3 cargo appears, in the same route as the one I've crippled, nearly crushes into it, reverse, and turn around it, it was like he was parking a car. :rotfl:

I wish I could see that. Sounds pretty cool.

That seems to be the normal behavior of any ship you get close to. Full reverse + turn. It was actually something was wondering if the modders could change. Seems silly to have a ship that you are harmlessly passing on the side pull this maneouver. In a few circumstances their efforts to miss me have almost run them right into me!
