For some reason he is not a member on this forum but hangs out on the darkside.
Will get him to join and post some close up shots on the U-Boat and corvette crews. I know he spend weeks and weeks getting the detail right. |
Thats frickin awesome Mowgli, they look incredible !! Your bro's got some real talent for moddelling. Is it something he does professionally or just as a hobby? Man I wish I could do that, I always had problems gluing the bits together. If that were me doin the work, my U-boot would have looked like a cumberland sausage

Is that the Matchbox model of the Flower Class corvette? I had a go at making that a few years ago, it was bl**dy huge, and the wife refused to let me build it on the dining room table, I kept getting glue everywhere. I had to give it up and pass it on to a modeller friend who really made a good job if it, not as good as your brothers though. That is one fine looking ship, well done to him, much respect.

My plane models I put in my glass cabinet.
Last summer I bought a U-Boat model that would "just fit" on one of the shelves. It is circled in red. I just don't have the time or, as it turns out, the patience to build it/ http://www.onpoi.net/ah/pics/users/2...66_cabinet.jpg |
