The best looking ships IMHO are,

Warship: The Hamilton class high endurance USCG cutters, they have great 60's lines

I loved the look of the Yamato battleship. And the Bismark comes a close 2nd.

I agree the Yamato and bismark are classics

Bismark! :arrgh!:

as far as BB's go, the Bismarck or North Carolina class are the best looking for sure. I always thought the Yamato's looked bloated and clumsy, not graceful, especially with that weird curve they have amidships.

I always liked the Iowa Class Battleships. They practically symbolized Naval Warfare of 20th Century.

HMS Victory. There are no better lines than those in the age of sail, and the British made them prettier than anyone.

Alaska CB for me....not quite a cruiser...not quite a battleship. All pretty tho.

That's just an old-fashioned oil painting scanned off the back of my squadrons/signal publications booklet on U.S. Heavy Cruisers. Wish I had the original hanging on my wall.

Waaay, waaay too hard of a question I think. There are many beautiful warships but this one came to mind first, not saying its the best but on the list:
