yer its that time in my life aswell, im getting:
AMD 64bit X2 4400+ A8N SLi Deluxe 2GB RAM Sappier X1800XT ViVo PCI-E should run SH3 with harber traffic and commamder 2.3 without looking like powerpoint :D |
The Dell XPS line is great. I have built my own systems for years, but finally got tired of all the defective parts I've encountered ove rth elast two or three.
So, I bought a Dell and have no problems at all. They also have an XPS line using the new BTX motherboard form factor. Watch for the sales they run if you are considering buying one. I got a free LCD 19" upgrade, so I only spent $40 in total for their top of the line 19" LCD! They also had $200 off if you spent $1999 or more, so i added a few more options to the $1800 rig I had set up and saved money! Dell XPS 3.0GHz P4 HT (still plenty enough power for what's out there) 19" LCD monitor GeForce 6800 PCI 2GB RAM Dual 120GB SATA hard drives Separate CD and DVD burners The harbor traffic mod runs flawlessly! It has added yet another new dimension to SH3 for me. Half-Life 2 and Battlefield 2 are beautiful too! |
