This was in the in the Mission designers forum but only

22 people have looked at it in a week so I thought I might get a response from some one who can help me here! I hope you don't mind me putting it here!~!~!

Every map I make kicks all the players after the subs pass a certain geographical point for some reason, its real frustrating to have a good game going and every body gets kicked.
Its not my Internet because it always happens when I get so far ahead of the point I started from.
I put the game on my other computer completely unmodded just in case and hosted it there still the same problem. its kicks me off and I crash to the desktop, as well as the other players
Any help or suggestions appreciated!

Sorry, according to the informal subsim poll (http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=46677), only 25% of us play online, while the other 75% prefer to play alone in SP.

I'm a solo hunter myself, but I'll kindly BUMP this topic for you anyways.

Umm if the host has a mod that that affects damage (such as Hollywood or Airpower) then as soon as a torpedo hits a ship, all the other people will immediately get kicked.

Thanks for the Bump Marhkimov :yep: :yep:

Thats why I put it on my other computer with out any mods whats so ever on it, I remade the mission with that one also just in case any mods made the Mission design flawed some how and ran it on the computer with out mods as sort of a dedicated server and disabled the host Sub as soon as we got in and played on my gaming computer!
still after getting to a certain point in the game all the computers crashed including my gaming computer and the host just gave me a message the every one had left the game!!

Thanks for the response any help is appreciated!

The reason I ask is from my experiance with multiplay, 99% of map problems are the bloody aircraft. Its usualy to many planes spawning all at 1's that kills ppls conn to the game. The other thing with aircraft is that some ppl have added the lights to them and forget that they have done so, or have reshuffeld the AC roster and this also causes problems.

If you do have AC scripted in, try running the map without them.

Beyond that the only other thing that comes to mind is at that waypoint where every 1 gets kicked, that I can think of, is do you have a trigger that spawns a largeish number of units ?
If so, like AC, to many spoil the broth :)

Hmm :hmm: well Yes I do have aircraft in the missions! I have been so stubborn that I want AC that I may have over looked that they are causing problems but I haven't added any events or any thing like that to spawn but is it possible that I need to have Objectives, Triggers, and Events in order to make the mission work correctly?
I have always left all those things blank and concentrate on the layout of the ships!
Thats a good Idea I may have subconsciously overlooked the AC because I wanted them in, but hearing it from an external source it sound reasonable that they are the problem..I give that a try.

Thanks allot
