Why do I lose helo link sometimes? any help is appreciated..tnx..

For me, it usually happens when a submariner shoots the helo down with a MANPADS. Though it can also be caused by the helo going out of comm range.

Hey Mad Foxes. As mentioned maybe shot down but Im gonna guess your helo is out of range of your OHP. Approx 40 miles.

Or maybe you are flying two helos? You can only link to one.

Altitude also plays a role...flying too low i think will cut comms with the ship (depending on distance)

Good point. I do believe that the horizon still applies, since LAMPS III isn't a HF system.

Well not sure but if Mad Foxes means flying a helo off of a OHP single player there is no altitude control for the helo. She always flys at approx 300 feet.

Sounds like problem solved. Hint: Keep an eye on your REMRO when flying and linking to two helos. ;)
