AGE OF PIRATES (aka Sea Dogs 2) released in RUSSIA
 

So, released by 1C Company in Russia, no doubt.
Anybody know what is release date in Europe or USA ?
I'm waiting for this title very much :-)

it's beenreleased byt recenses are very poor. It's much worsier than Piretaes of The Caribbean and it has lot of lags and bugs. Don't buy it

man that stinks the original sea dogs was one of my favorite games of all time and I was really looking forward to this one :damn:

the first one Korsair was great.
all others are worsier and worsier.
The guy who's devoloping this game says he's tired of this **** ! can u imaige !? the developer call it's ****. man, how the game can be cool if developer tired of it.
any way, i've seen the official trailer of age of pirates and there was nothing about game, just 3d animation. this is sux.

Check out piratesahoy.net for news and stuff. From some stories they reported some and some forum posts, the game is pretty buggy. As a matter of fact I think a patch was released a day or two after its release.

4 patches have been released ( since i was playing it last time ) during one month. and this is not the only freaking thing about this game. really, guys, pirates of the caribbean is much better. the only thing better about age of pirates is - u can control and upgrate ur colony. but it doesn't look very interesting .

Akella are terrible for that. I remember the age of sail 2 hardly worked at all when it was first released. You couldnt board, fix things, manage your crew, it was a nightmare! Id love to see a really good Age of Sail sim. One that gave u as much freedom as SH3

Nothing from Akella works right out of the box. THey are Kings for making games that are shipped broken.

However, they are pretty good at fixing it. You will get your game and it will work right - eventually.

Well, according to the game description, Foreign Captains would found their own colonies...now that's cool, I believe the same happens in Sid Meier's Pirates?
