A TMA guide ?
:) Although there has been some excellent work such as that contained in Timmyg00s Tacman,
there has been some talk in the recent past about getting things up todate for newcomers to DW. I remember OKO outlining some thoughts on preparing a Guide. I wonder if anyone has had any further ideas ? :hmm: |
There are only two differences in DW: first, there are bad TA lines, and second, DEMON data is harder to get. Everything else is exactly the same. Do you really need to rewrite the TACMAN for that? How bout an addendum?
|
:sunny: Yes thanks ML - an addendum would do very nicely - particularly from someone with mucho experience. :yep:
In fact it would be very, very welcome - Sir ? :hmm: |
Now I was rather hoping to reopen and extend an earlier discussion on manual TMA where it was claimed
now (in DW) it is almost mandatory in order to get 'excellent' TMA that a steady course is held. Little regard was paid to the benefits of improving the solution by 'beaming' etc.(SC/SCX) Either DW has changed fundamentaly or this was a b*m-steer ?:hmm: I dont think a dismissive ''There are only two differences in DW: first, there are bad TA lines, and second, DEMON data is harder to get.'' quite hits the mark. :o  :stare: |
timmygoo tactical manual is about tma

 Ah sure, sure now y'are right there Kap.

Bad TA lines? Can someone explain?
|
If the line was generated in the middle of a turn, the indicated bearing is incorrect.
