Where are the docked ships?
Hey guys, I am pretty new to the game first of all. I run the latest version of RUB, SH3 Commander, and nothing else.
I started the game in 1939 and I dock at Kiel. I dont know if any of that makes a difference, but whenever I go into enemy ports, there are never any ships docked. Am I just getting unlucky, or am I wasting my time? I saw a mod called Harbor traffic, it looked like it only added traffic in friendly harbors, but maybe I am wrong... Could someone enlighten me on that as well? Or are there any other mods that helped in that direction that are compatable with SH3 Commander and RUB? Thanks fellas. S! |
I'm also running RuB and Commander, I've seen docked ships twice in a row at Hartlepool, but never again since then :(
Can anyone tell us anything about this? |
It's a shame when I think of all the harbors I have snuck into... yet zero contacts. :damn:

You have to install mods. The unmodded game does not contain many docked ships.
For example Imrpoved U-Boat or U-Boat War Ace Campaign which have docked freighters etc. At the moment i am reworking this campaign, especially all habours. I have finished german, french, spanish, italian and north african harbours. |
Looking forward to your work!
Also, just to answer my own question, I installed Harbor Traffic mod and the first port I went to had 3 ships docked. The second port had roughly the same. So thats great! |
to me the harbour traffic mod has to few ships in ports.
so i tried u-boat war ace campaign which has much more traffic. unfortunately the positions of the ships were not quite exact. they seemed kind of spread in harbours. in the next weeks i rework the english ports and maybe someday the american harbours. now most other ports are almost finished. |
Nice! Make sure to post a link so I don't miss it!
Sounds like it will be great. |
