convoy flares
 

Hi guys,
Having read 'Iron Coffins', I see that when convoys were attacked at night, they would send flares up. According to Werner, it looks like they almost all did this.

I don't know anything about programing or modding, but how about having convoys send flares up after an initial torpedo attack. I'm thinking star shells would do the job nicely.

Just throwing this idea out to modders.
