Wolves at war patrols
Those who play WAW, how long must we patrol our grids? I reached my patrol grid and patroled area for 4 days, then decided to leave for lack of contacts, headed to AM53 and decide to enter lions den (further in)
I then entered liverpool habour, and got out alive. Still failed to sink anything, no ships nothing!. Fuel 75% full load torpedoes. Recieved a warning message from Bdu to patrol my Grid only! So am heading back at standard speed. Donietz has been informed of my rebel-ness. :rotfl: I am expecting a telling off could even be demoted to the desk!!! :damn: Whats made it worse its my first patrol :88) Hmmm argentina sounds good.... :hmm: |

Thanks
:damn: |
Basically, the uboats stopped patrolling near the English Coast in 1940 and didn't return until 1944.

My problem is i never read the rules.
Ive been playing SH3 way to long and just went into WAW the same way. Actually its put me off wanting to play WAW. But i'll see how BDU sort me out. They're probably give me a IIA with 1 torpedo for punishment. |

I wouldn't mind patrolling the same area for 5 days as long as it's not some random grid in the middle of nowhere. If it's a high traffic grid then good for me. But if it's one of the random grids that the game gives you then it would p*ss me off having to hang out there for a week. Does BdU normally hand out good grid assignments?

BdU gives grids which he thinks are important to be patrolled, that´s it. :)
I don´t mind patrolling a grid with no ships for 5 days, it´s realistic and that´s what WaW is all about! It´s not the point to sunk 10 ships on every patrols. Some patrols are good, some bad. |
