SH3 Mini Tweaker [game values tweaking tool]
 

SH3 Mini Tweaker is up and available for download.

Tweaker is a simplified GUI program interface for changing general hex game variables for Silent Hunter III.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!!
The program works with all patch versions, HOWEVER the tweak files supplied are for SH3 patch version 1.4b ONLY.

GET IT at (it's right at the top):

BE SURE to also download the TweakFiles.zip. Unzip them and save them to the SH3 Mini Tweaker's \TweakFiles folder (run the program before and the folder will be created).

Most of the aircraft .SIM tweak files are not completed for each plane's weapons systems (only B24 is complete). I may add that info when I have some time. You can always give it a whirl too.

Hope you like. Remember, the tweak files written are for SH3 patch 1.4b ONLY!!

When I go to the link I get your site.
First dl on top is SH3 Inspector build 188 (which I already have.)
Once at Inspector listing I find Unit images.zip at the bottom but nothing called tweak files.zip or mini tweaker
What am I doing wrong here?
Please advise.

First download is the Mini Tweaker, you should refresh the page. Empty your browser cache if you still don´t see it.

stupid question: how do you empty browser cache and why?

The old page was probably still in your browser cache, that´s why you didn´t see the updated page. Or you are using a proxy.

To delete the browser cache (if you have Internet Explorer)
Tools/Internet Options/Delete Files.

You can also press F5 (Refresh) , that should also refresh the page so that you see the download.

Timetraveller, I want to add a tweakfile for the sub zones which also includes the armour levels. I will read the tutorial anyway as it is such a great tool.

I am just wondering if you know what rebound actually does ingame?.

Not sure myself what rebound is. It' a fairly small value. Maybe the "bounce affect" when collision occurs??

Good luck on the zones. Zones might be tough. I never could figure them out. There's a zillion of them with no identifiers that I can find.
