sea texture?

After long time of using time compression, when I switch to conning tower view, the sea texture looks strange. Like the 'surface' layer moves indepenently from the waves and it does not look too good - some squares. After some time of 1x TC it backs to normal.

What is the problem? How to resolve it?

radeon 9100 (saphire), some catalysts 4.something. I'll check it at night (in about 6 hours), now I'm on linux (i boot XP only for SH3 ;) ). I could check it now if it's written in some text file. Anyway I'm not windows specialist so I don't know where to look for it without windows GUI. I tried catalysts 5.something once but had terrible problems with graphic glitches - 3d was unusable with them. I was unable to undo it correctly so it ended with dd if=backup.image of=/dev/hda1 ;-)

My computer is running on a pretty extinct graphics card GeforceFX5700 128ram, but she brings out nice detail in SH3 and thats running at high detail. About a week ago i updated my drivers from ver78.01 to 85.00 and got the glichers you have. Knew straight away the drivers were the problem so reverted back to older drivers and detail was back to normal.

Maybe try going back to older drivers and see what happens

I run a FX5600 Ultra 128MB card and use the 81.87 drivers which work just fine for me. I also fly with IL2FB/AEP/PF and they work with it also.

i'm using a prehistoric ti 4600 with drivers which number back in the 40's. works mostly a-okay for me both with SH3 and the IL2 series.

sometimes i do get the "jimi hendrix experience" patchwork on the sub and clouds in SH3. sometimes the sub isn't even there, just the patchwork conning tower. really weird, but kewl looking at the same time. when it happens, i know it's time to save and exit the game to allow the card a little "r&r". happens rarely and only with SH3.

out

Thanks Kiwi, but the drivers i am using give me a lot of more performance than olders.

Any way, here the problem is SH3, you are using another video card trade mark and drivers and you are having the same problem.

Best regards, Red.
