Type XXI from outer space [short movie clip]
BLOW BALLAST!
http://rapidshare.de/files/7555625/BLOW.mpg.html [mpeg, 4.6mb] For those of you who are complaining that the XXI is "uber", here is more proof that it's indeed the greatest u[ber]-boat of all time. :arrgh!: |
I'm just sitting here, laughing my guts out.
Thank you! Just wishing I knew how you did that. |
The music was great! I can't believe how graceful the sub is.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Excellent! All you need now is the addition of the dolphin mod, so they can run form a pod with you. :D What do you call your boat Fipper? Or maybe you should add the tiger teeth on the bow. :D :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: |
OMFG!!!!! :rotfl:
I'm going to go get some milk just so I can blow it out my nostrils!!!! I love the aerial ramming techniques! :hmm: What would happen if you launched a torp mid-air?? |
How in the world did you do that!!!??? AWESOME!!
|
OMFG!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I think I just blew a couple ribs out my side watching that. That and I have to clean the Mountain Dew I spit all over my screen off now. How the heck did you get the boat to do that? :o |

That was too funny...Thanks I needed that! :-j

CCIP was just trying to get some of the Luftwaffe funding.
"See Fuhrer? Look at zee boot - it can fly too!" |
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I guess that must have taken some time. My bet is you got the boat at max submerged speed, then blew the ballast as many times as the compressed air reserve permitted. I suppose a little saving/loading took place as well to avoid repairs and to achieve the ramming of enemy ships. |
I did the same thing myself, though purely by accident when I was messing around with sub variables, speed, etc. Check it out:
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b3...SH3Takeoff.jpg I had more pictures, but lost most of them during a recent reinstall. In the end, I achieved a total of 384 knots at a depth of -1252 feet (or above the water, in otherwords). It was pretty to funny to look down and see nothing below your sub since I was so far above the ocean. Crazy stuff. The crash was even better, it nose dived into the oceanfloor and spun like a top about a billion times before I got the death screen :o I wish I could reproduce it but I never did have much luck. It wasn't the speed that made the sub go screaming out of the water at 300 knots. It was the whole richoccet effect from cranking the sub from 0-50 knots in 5 meters and clipping the ocean floor with the aft, which then sent it flying skyward. Pretty fun stuff overall. I do enjoy this game's physics engine  |
Hehe!
:lost: :/\k: |
Now we can add a new feature---JUMP SHOTS !! :rotfl: :rotfl:
