Could you find a credible link to the issue in question?
It seems to me this is a case of it being a tax on one thing but getting blown out of proportion. |
Ah yes the Daily Telegraph, that bastion of English facism.

Only certainties are death and taxes......................................for Telegraph Readers
The original valuation calculations were done on the back of cigarette packs usualy during a drive-past. Front was all. So the crafty property owner dropped 'ribbon' type development in favour of the 'Hollywood' set build in the back garden. The so called 'view' is the least of the problem - extensions, more bedrooms, more bathrooms ......you name it. But tho they have got their beady eye on your 'precious things' rest assured that however complex the proposals............ probably next time the same guy will drive past your domus, scribbling away, but getting paid twice as much. :-j |
.................................by you. :rotfl:
