looking for the air attacks at high TC fix
Hi all, ive been searching the forum for several hours now but no luck,
i cant find the fix for making airplanes spawn at hight time compression that i know is posted somewhere around here. :hmm: i would be extreemly greatfull if anyone could help me out. |

hmm, i was pretty sure sombody posted a fix, something that also involved the 3d engine,
maybe i was only dreaming :( |

pls dont tell him "ther is no fix" if you dont know! there IS a fix! @deckard its easy to do (but not really working for me) go to your sh3/data/cfg folder, but NOT the main sh3 folder, i mean the one in "your files" "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\CombatMedic\Eigene Dateien\SH3\data\cfg" know what i mean? then open the main.cfg and search this (its at the beginning) [TIME COMPRESSION] TimeStop=0 RealTime=1 LandProximity=512 CriticalDamage=1 CrewEfficiency=1 AirEnemyDetected=1 SoundEffects=8 CharacterAnim=64 EnemyDetected=64 RadioReport=1 Particles=64 PrayState=64 HunterState=64 3DRender=2048 <- this is the line you have to change. change it like me and you can stand on the bridge at highest TC, very...impressive :up: Maximum=2048 hope it works for you... |

i think that is the "AirEnemyDetected=1" value
if you put this to 0 the game will stop or pause when a airplane is detected. But it depends if the weather is cloudy, sunny , foggy... if the clouds are dense, a plane can jump over the sub without time to dive :dead: :shifty: |
Planes will only appear when I'm at 256 TC or less...are you saying that changing the TC limit for 3dRender will cause planes to spawn at higher TC?
