Although, it still seems strange to have the Navigator reply to and read you the weather report, even though this command is now under that of the Watch Officer. Might someone out there be able to tackle this issue? :hmm:

At first I thought the same thing. It was strange that the Watch Officer was not reporting the weather, but it began to make some sense to me....


Just consider that the Watch Officer is using the com system to relay the weather report to the Navigaor. The Navigator then relays the weather report to the Captain (you!).

Simple enough, right?

The Readme:

I already integrated a weather icon fix into IuB 1.01. Though for some reason the lower line of the icon doesn't show up. (You'll see what I mean if you play)

I assume that your Weather Fix version "RUb 1.44 & HT 1.46" is the one we need for the new IUB 1.01 mod ???

I'd just like to note for anyone that the weather icon fix is NOT NEEDED for IuB 1.01 as it was already fixed.

I did not know that it was already fixed in IUB... Sorry about that oRGy...

Except that I have made the weather icon look like a sun and cloud. :D

However also the tga files are different in IuB in size and layout from RuB.

So I'm not sure that the new files would actually work.

Actually, I don't know if you know this or not, but I took the 'MainOrders.tga' from IUB and made my fix on top of it... :D :D :D

It should work for IUB and RUb, since IUB only adds more icons to the one used in RUb...

Oh right - well, it's just I noticed chomu's orders.tga's were different from what I had before. But if it works fine for you, it works fine!

I always try to make my mods compatible with IUB and RUb... They are the BIG BOYS on the market. Everything has to be compatible with both of 'em... :up:
