Question about ending Patrol?
 

I am approx half way to my PA and out of torps sunk two C2
north of Scapa Flow used all my torps sinking these ships :cry:
I was heading for BF44 going the long way from Kiel .
Do I need to go on to my PA? If I exit the patrol will I lose my credits
for the two ships?
I have started a new career from Flotilla Wegener Kiel Oct 1939.
V11B Patrol 1 Lost my other boat from air attact's at night spring
1942 BF area plane just came out of night sky and drop bombs
flak gunner's were at there staitons :hmm:

If you radio BDU, (and you are out of torps) they will order you to return at any rate. You will probably lose some points for not making your PA and staying there for 24 hours, but shouldn't be reduced much. You won't lose renown for the two ships though.

Also, if you choose to, there is a way to add renown to a campaign. (Kind of cheating... well no, it IS cheating...), but if you feel you deserve it, what the heck!

It worked :D I sent a status message that all torps were used.
Got a radio message to return to base. Back in Kiel Oct 7 1939 :D

Lane, you do not lose points for not going to your PA, you just do not get the points for going there. You will get full credit for the C2's.

Right HW3, I got credit for for the two C-2 ships sunk and give out
5 U-Boat War Badge's and a Renown 1,271 points Using SH3 commander
ver 2.2 try to give qualifications Repair to sailors and W officers
but was just able to move icon up and apply to a few crew members
will start SH3 and see if they were added. Ready for patrol 2

I just added qualifications with it for the first time, and noticed it was a little picky about where I tried to place the icon in the box. I had to play around with them some but, got them all placed finally and checked the game and they all showed up fine.

HW3

I though it was just me :D I try to give each seaman a Repair
icon but just could move the icon about halfway up then it would
disappear? Well I am ready to leave for patrol 2 glad I got my Kiel
map with Minenfeld and nets. I have read there are mine fields
around England wonder were they are :)

It seemed to work best if I put the icon in the left side of the box.
