Harpoon3 '1965 - 1979' database updated!
 

The 1965-1979 database for Harpoon3 has been updated and is available here:

This version of the database now has text descriptions for almost every ship in the DB, aircraft descriptions will be added in the near future. In addition there are 55 new ships and 16 aircraft, and countless mods, adjustments, and other improvements.


There are currently four Harpoon3 databases, covering the 1939-2015 timeframe, available on the HarpoonHQ:

SimHQ admins, I guess you need to update your forum to the latest phpBB version. It has an Enable Visual Confirmation feature that requires users to enter a code defined by an image when registering. That keeps the spam bots out.

Now that certainly grabbed my attention. I fell off the Harpoon bandwagon around the H2-Admiral's Edition. Any comments on how the WWII scenarios play out? The thought of a Midway or Coral Sea scenario has certainly got me thinking of revisiting this series. :D

The WWII scenarios for Harpoon3 work surprisingly well, Tom's been doing an exceptional job tweaking the database to play as realistical as possible (gun/sensor models etc).
