Problem with the real u-boat mod
 

i posted this post in the mod forum but i didnt get any help, mabe il get more luck here:

I installed the mod using the mod manager program and the game loads with a black screen and stays that way. I alt tab and task manger says its not responding. what do i do?

If you uninstall RUb, does the game run?

yes, about 2 months ago when i tryed running the game after uninstalling rub i didnt work and i had to reinstall the game, but now it works after uninstalling the mod

What graphics adapter do you have? What driver version for it?

Are your running with the latest DirectX version? If you run DXDiag, do you pass all the video and audio tests?

i have a Geforce 6600 GT, nvidia driver version 77.30, directX 9.0c, all tests successful.

Do you get the black screen directly after the DVD check or when you start a patrol/mission? If it´s directly after the check delete both wmv video files from data\movies\intro. RUb replaces the original intros with 0 byte files, some systems don´t like that.

What did you do to fix it? Restore the original video or delete those installed by RUb?

delete
