I need a little bit of help in doing this....I have the freeware model in 3DS format, and converted it to OBJ format....but there may be a few errors, and I'm wondering how best to import it into the game....

That looks fun.

I am sure people will show you how to do the .zon files so it is as good i.e. 40knots underwater and a hull of 3000.

Actually I have zero experience other than hacking the files for the Type XXI to give me USS Nautilus performance, 25~ knots submerged... :-j

Here's a ZIP file with the original 3DS I found and a conversion of it to OBJ format.

Hopefully, some of you bright folks can replace say, the Type XXI with the Nautilus and a few other ships with 1860s steamships, and we can have a VULCANIA campaign (Based on the Disney version).

How is this progressing?

I sooo want to play as Captain Nemo. If you can set the damage file right, ramming speed could be as effective as any torpedo.
