as I was leaving brest, when I was out to sea I came across a AI U-boat, then I got an air craft spotted. As I was using external view the AI uboat was engaging the air craft with not only the AA guns, but they were also using the DECK GUN!?

The forum's SEARCH function doesn't work too well but I do believe there's a thread around discussing the actual historic use of Uboat deck guns against Allied aircraft.

Warships will also use their main guns to shoot at aircraft. It looked odd seeing a destroyer or Hipper shooting planes with such large weapons. :huh:

Wait a minute.....You've seen AI U-Boats? I thought there were'nt any...

The AI Uboats are fleet...silent. You will never see them. They are like NINJA.

There was atleast one boat which downed a enemy aircraft with deck gun. Can´t remember which boat it was, I think I read about it in Uboat.net.

But has a HUMAN ever done it in the SIM

Yes there was. In fact there was a successful shot ! :huh:
