Please help locate good IXD2 Skin(s)
 

I have found tons of great skins for all sub types except IXD2, which is what i have currently in my campaign. Can someone please help me find a decent, preferably Hi-res, skin for IXD2.

I'm not even aware that there is one available at this point. I'd be glad to find one also.

Maybe one of the talented modders will be kind enough to make a hi-res IXD2 sub skin. I don't know if Sean (who made some of the hi-res skins) is still around.

I've adapted Fubar's Typ IX skin for the IXD2, it's not brilliant but does the job. It'll be in next version of IuB.

Sounds great! Will there be a seaparate download outside of IUb? I don't use the big mod (my game's already heavily modded).

If I have the time... or Fubar or whoever wants it can certainly extract it and put it up separately if they want.

I'm interrested too, as I plan to take command of a IX D2 when it will be available... and if I have a nice skin to put on it. I don't like the rusty stock textures, especially when I get a new boat...

BTW, it would be nice if you, Fubar, would make a camo skin on the type VII, to use in the Med. Just like the one you made for the IXC.

I have found a IXD2 skin in Pascals Mod collection available at Terrapins site. Its a decent skin, much improved from the stock IXD2 skin. Its still a 80+MB download which includes most of Pascals work.

Still looking forward to Fubar IXD2 skin. I think the only two skins not yet made by Fubar are IXD2 and XXI.
