Improved uboat mod problems

I have a problem with the Improved uboat mod the Sky disapeared during the day. Its all black but the night still has the stars. I don't know what is wrong. I tried changing the sky by putting in Ail sky mod putting it in the data/misc but it didn't do anything. then I tried putting it in data/misc folder of improved uboat mod, and that didn't do anything either. And yes I am using the mod installer and it isn't doing anything either. I even disabled the all the mods and it crashed the game on the splash load screen. Any suggestion on how to fix the problem?

Yes, reinstall SH3! :) Something has killed your installation, so that seems to be the only way to fix it. By the way, have you installed patch 1.4b before IUb?

yes it is the only way to install the patch because it won't let me install if i do changes to the game before. This is like the 10th time I had to reinstall the game.
