Torpedo Loose sound mod?
 

Hello everyone not to sure if this is the right section to post this in or not so if it is wrong please forgive me :).. I also have searched the forum but I cannot seem to find an answer to my question. So if this question has been asked before please forgive me :)..

Now what I would like to know is does anyone know if there is a sound mod for SH3 in where the crew member yells out "Loose" or something similar like "Torpedo 1 Loose" (or the particular torpedo tube number that is being fired) when you fire a torpedo please?

As I know in Aces Of The Deep they use to scream this out when the torpedo was fired and I liked it alot better over the standard one used in SH3.

If such a sound mod is not available is it possible to use this sound from Aces Of The Deep in SH3? As I still have an original copy of Aces Of The Deep on CD and would like to use this sound if possible :).

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)..

I believe the German word is "los". I assume it means to release or let loose.

I looked in the audio section of the SH3 downloads at u-boot.realsimulation.com but there's nothing obvious there, based on file title alone, that matches what you're looking for.

I use Sale999's sound mods- which add the advanced torpedo dialoguie for at least the Germans, plus other neat stuff.

I want my torpedo officer yelling "MEIN GOTT! HIMMEL! WRONG TUBE!" When I lauch a torpedo...

"Los" means nothing else than "Go" - "Start" et setera ;)

There is a modified stockvoice version that says like this, repeating the commando. Then there is voices from the movie Das Boot that also have this kind of sounds.
If you only want the "torpedo los" sounds from Das Boot movie, I have them and can make a upload for you if you like.

The file WeO_K_Firing_tube_5.ogg in the Das Boot soundmod ('B-Sound-Add-on' at http://sh3sounds.realsimulation.com) contains an unspecific "Los".

Before copying all files into your speech-directory check the larger files, as some are quite tedious; e.g. the more or less complete damage reports from the movie!

Which one has the repeated "Los"?

Someone has added a repeat as though the order was being relayed down to the guys in the torpedo room, and I used to have it, but now can't remember which soundpack it's in.
