Battery capacity?

Whats battery capacity dictated by?

By battery type? What Uboat its installed in? or both?

I know different battery types have different modifiers. 1, 1.25, 1.30, etc

Thats all fine and dandy, but what am i mulitplying that against?

For instance if im using a battery with a 1.25 multiplyer, whats my total capacity for say,

a VI
A IX?
or a XXI?
