Important feature missing
We really need a 'abandon ship!' option when this happens
I had to surface to get all the water out, when I did there were 3 doing circles around the boat  Where's the surrender option?! http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/5944/spotted7fe.jpg While the new recruits panic, the WO remains calm. http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/5350/help5ms.jpg |
Would be nice...
|
There's no surrender in U-Boating! :arrgh!:
:-j |
Yes
could be nice see the crew jumping out the boat to the water in lifejackets. :dead: unfortunately this is forbiden in the sh3 bdu. the crew have to close the hatch and go deep to avoid that the enigma machine and codes could fall in british hands. :hulk: |
Could it be SH3 is an U-505 simulator?
|
lol... I'd say most people aren't even aware that the captain of U-505 committed suicide while being under depth charge attack... leaving his crew on their own. Reading about him he was a real JERK to his crew too... a real sicko.
They lived through the attack and buried him at sea. |

What I really wish is that there would be an option to attempt to scuttle the boat once you've decided to surrender. Of course, given my crew's abilities, they'd probably bungle it and forget to leave the sea strainers open or leave the enigma behind. ;) |
Really?
I wonder if the modders could make it so you escape the prison camp a few years later and begin your quest for revenge :arrgh!: |

You'll just have to imagine the subsequent interrogations and escape attempts. :D |
A real U-Boat captain never surrenders.

It was meant to be a joke. I didn't make the comment with any historical accuracy in mind.
