These were taken by my husband during a 4x4 trip. Relax! The area is well mared with a beaten path. The first pic on the site is from a minefield that goes back to the 1948 war, along the border with Egypt. The following pics are of dummy mines, taken at a military expo.

Thanks but we would never think of leaving here. It's our home. And so many people have the wrong impression. Our children can go out of the house day and night and play in the park or ride their bikes. The only thing that keeps me worried is when they cross the street. Sure beats what my husband and I grew up with back in the States.
That's not to say things are coming up roses here but day by day, we're just fine, thank you.
But, yes, I like Canada. Always have.
