Sound mod request.......
 

I'd like to have DD's overhead (and dc's) somewhat louder, so that when running at slow speed and silent - I can hear them reaonably distinctly from the control room.

Does such a mod exist if so which please?

The problem is that the DD wavs are already close to distortion level, so you cannot increase the volume much. The answer, which is what I have done, is to turn the ambient interior volume DOWN. Then you can hear those screws as they approach - pretty scary...

When you say "ambient interior volume" do you refer to the in-game contols?... Or do you refer to editing the volume of the wave file that determines ambient submarine internal sounds?

The latter. Simply turn it down with windows sound recorder.
