XXI in RUB?
 

Hey! What can I do to enable XXI type around the end of the war like in the original?

I'd like to reward myself with the uber sub for getting near the end of the war. :arrgh!:

I believe you still do get it in RUB if your in 11th flotilla near the end of the war.
You can edit your config files to make it avilable at any time, but I don't know what to type :-?

Could be interesting have the tipe XXi at 1943-44 .

If the germans put the tipe XXI at 1943 the war could be different.

In Rub mod they have made it more real to have this XXI only to be available the last month in the war.
If you want the XXI to appear as in stock game, open basic.cfg (data\Cfg\Basic.cfg) and scroll down until you find this entry (use the "find" funktion). Change these lines (you can use a normal texeditor like word pad when you open the file):

NrMinOff=4
NrMaxOff=6
NrMinPO=14
NrMaxPO=24
NrMinSeamen=26
NrMaxSeamen=34
NbVersion=1
Version0=0 ; XIX

to be like this instead:

I think you'll maybe loose a fix that was made on XXI boat, but Im not sure.
