Pascal's mods and the mod-enabler -- HELP!
Okay -- I tried to install the new Pascal's mods via the mod enabler. I see a choice for Pascal's mods and move that over to activate. However, I do not see any changes to anything, so the files must not have been copied over correctly. :damn:
Would someone who has installed Pascal's mods with the mod enabler please tell me how to do this? :-? Thanks! |
Hello APHILL,
first i have to say i don´t use the mod enabler programm for myself. But i guess i know where the problem is: When you unpack the mod you´ll get a folder called "Pascals_mods_09132005" This is NOT the root folder of the mod , inside this folder are 4 further folders located. 2 with alternative textures, 1 folder with screenshots and a folder called "Pascals_mods". That one is the true root folder where you have to point the mod enabler to. It contains the SH3 folder structure the mod enabler needs to work. I hope you´ll make it, the textures are very good. edit: just saw a screenshot of that mod enabler for the first time in another thread :) am i right to assume that you have to copy your mods in a folder created by that program? If this is fact, just copy the folder "Pascals_mods" to the mod enabler folder and you should be able to activate it. Sorry for my non-knowledge of that program and my english! |
also have a look at this thread in the main forum:
http://www.subsim.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=43159 I did this screenshot, hope it helps: http://img253.imageshack.us/img253/3...enabler9ko.jpg And yes, i´ve tried that program now. :yep: very handy tool... |
Thanks!
Thanks, guys, so much for your help! It is much appreciated.
