Thank You Sonalysts

Just recieved my copy of Dangerous Waters in the mail today and ive got to say its the best sim ive bought in years. I remember 3-1/2 years ago when i purchased Sub Command it was the best sim id played to date. I didnt think we'd ever be graced with a sim as in depth as it was. Let alone to get a new and better one from the same company.

I cant get enough of the Multi-station ability, i was originaly going to build a home cockpit for FS04 but since today i've changed my mind and decided i would build a "Home-Bridge" so to speak complete with navigation table, appropriate lighting, PA system (old lady's going to love that one -- "Galley/Con Bring me coffee and sandwiches on the double." LOL) As long as you guys at sonalysts keep em coming ill keep on buying em. Prolly even buy 2 if you make a new one :smug: .

Thanks Again Sonalysts,
Ahead 1/3, Make Your Depth 150FT, Prepare For Launch.
Someone go to the galley and tell her to hurry up with that coffee!

Welcome darksythe. I like your comment "If you keep making em', I'll keep buying em'." I agree with that. This game is absolutely amazing. I think it's incredible that you can play air, surface, and sub-surface platforms in one sim!!! This game is definitely a must buy. :D

Well my second full day into DW is about to commence and my only complaints are that i cant deicide which platform i like more :rotfl:
and the campaign arent modeled for individual platforms that i can see maybe wrong im stilla noob to dw. Either way thats no biggie considering the Mission Editor is great and im sure alot more new campaigns wil be showing up shortly. :sunny:

You can also try the custom missions and campaigns that Bill Nichols host on his site http://www.subguru.com, just extract them to your scenarios folder and you have even more to chose from. I'm playing though Crazy Ivan's converted Sub Command campagins. They're great.

As far as boats to drive, watch out for those Akula weapons, they will spoil ya rotten! Most powerful torp 650, fastest torp Shkval, best Anti-ship missle, rocket launched torps! A submariners dream (takes time and practice to know how to use them, I practice by setting up dummy missions: A dead in the water sub/ship with my ship 4km off its bow, to do weapons test to get a feel for the weps, acquisition ranges, etc.) Note that the accuracy of the sub-launched torps are problematic. You mights want to download LuftWolf and Amizaur's SubrocAttack.txt doctrine (found in their Weapons and Sensors Realism Mod v2.0) to replace the stock SubrocAttack.txt doctrine for better launch accuracy.

Still, that American Sonar is top notch.

When you ready, there's a whole list of mods available to tweak the game to your liking (also on Bill's site). Just make sure to backup the original DW folder just in case you want to undo the mod, without having to do a full uninstall/reinstall (made that mistake a couple of times) Or you can tweak them yourself with the Database editors available.

happy hunting.

I don't even understand what you're trying to say here. What....we can't compliment the game????
