Late War Woes?
 

Lately, I've been modifying certain files in the game to start at a later stage in the Campaign(around May/June of 44,) and found some interesting things. By adjusting the time spent for changing Uboats, I managed to start around Nov 44' in 2nd Flott. When I started the first patrol after watching the calender tick away, I recieved the "Base changed to Bergen" spat. However instead of leaving from Lorient, I found myself smack in the middle of the ocean south of Africa! This was, of course, because Lorient no longer exsisted, and 0 deg Latitude/0 deg Longitude was my start point (where the blue and red lines intersect on the map). I noticed also that in the Flottilla. cfg file, only 7th Flott has Bergen as a post Sep 44' base. Why?(edit: Only one moved to Bergen/edit 2: Only one that STAYED in France!!!! ) Another strange thing is that I've twice started from Bergen and found myself in the middle of the Base itself!

The other day I had modified the flottilla file as well as another file in attempt to just plain start a campaign in 44', but crashed the game.

Is there anyway to start late war without strange happenings other than entering service in 43'? :doh: :doh: :doh:
