Burning Elco's
I was playing one of the Gibralter single missions and had quite a bit of company, anyway, the British Elco's(shouldn't they be Vosper's ?) were running around like a swarm of angry ants, (I had just sunk a V&W) and I noticed smoke pouring from them then a dull red glow, hey they are on fire !. The fire however did not consume them (much to my surprise and annoyance)
Your thoughts gentlemen ? |

Playing SHIII has increased my appreciation for the Beck's brand of beer! That, and I make a killer BBQ sauce for ribs -- lots of Canadian whiskey, good quality wine vinegar, sweet dark molasses, home-grown tomatoes, Dijon mustard, and a secret selection of peppers. You'll want to drink the sauce right out of the bowl!

Guys! You are awfully offtopic!
Those Elcos were burning most probably because of damage done by rough weather. With winds blowing at 15m/s even small freighters can be sunk! Fires onboard aren't really "fires" but more a visualisation of damages. And yes, BBQ anyone? I have lately found great way to do grilled corn :D |
I have seen this allot, but since there is no more patches,I guess we have to live with it,like all the other bugs that will never be fixed.

Well one of the burning elcos ( in this case a Schnellboot ) was his own fault.
But hey he ran the light. :rotfl: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y11...an/Hesgone.jpg |
