Placing mines
 
Hello again.

I´m trying a mission about placing mines in a harbour entrance, but can´t make the goals for placing the mines :damn: . And couldn´t find anything in the manual or another similar custom missions.

Thank you for your help, and sorry for asking so many times. :)

On top of you screen you find the Editor Menu, look under ADD, select, Minefield. (page 25)

Fish I think this is not what the guy meant, he wanted to make placing mines a task for player (and goal that is trigered when the mines are placed by the *player*).

It's easy to do, I did it for some of my scenarios and I know it works.

Use the detection goal, so that when a certain object (in this case mine) appears on the given spot, the goal is triggered. I think mines (as objects in the editor) are under "Civilian" group (can be confusing).

Gee, I realize now my mission editor skillz got rusty, I can't even remember the names of certain procedures :doh:

Let me know if you still have problems, I'll try to be more specific.

Thank you both for your answer, but OlegM is right, I meant placing mines by the player as a goal.
Sorry if didn´t explain it well.

As soon as I can I will try Oleg's method and I will post the result.

Thank you very much Oleg.

It works perfectly... well almost perfectly. I had to set the objet as a torpedo, not a mine.
The mission is with 688i, maybe is for the type of mine de LA uses...

But the important is that works. :up:
