Contact Reports

Whats the deal nowdays with the shortcut command "give me a contact report" from the radioman?Normally nothing happens but last time i started getting "nearest radio contact such and such distance in Km and such and such direction in degrees"Then it stopped and havent gotten it since. :doh:
