Lighthouse mod
Readme
The mod places working lighthouses throughout the world: around Wilhelmshaven and Kiel in Germany, near Brest, Lorient, St. Nazaire, and Bordeaux in France, as well as in Norway, UK, on the east coast of Canada and US and in Carribean. The mod includes the model file for a lighthouse and location data in Location.cfg. To combine this with other mods, just copy lighthouses data at the end of Location.cfg, paste in other mod's Location.cfg and correct order numbering. Awesome.
I can see this extending even further though. I'd love to sail by and see lights on Hatterras when Drumbeating; or have remote islands present something other than a grey navigational obstacle. Any chance you could pull out or recombine other location tiles? And one thing that would be awesome is that tile editor that Ubi had originally promised... I'm sure that, since you managed to pull a lighthouse out of there, that could be possible now :hmm: |
Sergbuto,
Can this mod be installed with JSGME in Ver 1.4b or with RUb 1.43? I remmber seeing the Lighthouse in SH1. Hope this mod is easy to install. Lane :D |
