Cannot assign war badges
 

Hello,

Ever since my first patrol I have two war badges that I cannot assign. If I earn more I can assign those, but not the last two ones. It seems like they are 'stuck'. Is there a file I can edit to get rid of them?

Any tips will be appreciated.

this happens to me all the time..i leave the game, then re-enter and reload the career ,then assign the medals before i leave on the next patrol...for some reason i cannot assign war patrol badges at the end of a patrol ;only at the start of the next after restarting the game...works most times.. :yep: dunno if this might help for you?

I do the same as CB - this happens a lot. When it happens, if I hover the mouse over the medal (as if I were about to drag it), the popup text says something like "Must complete a patrol".

There is one kind of medal (it's either the U-boat Clasp or the war Badge)you MUST grab at its lower left corner. It cannot be dragged if you click it anywhere else.

It's the War Badge (UBootskriegsabzeichen). That sucker is tough to click and drag. I had to actually click under the badge to be able to move it.

I had problems with that badge also, till I figured out where to click on it.

Same problem..I have to click about 1/4 to 1/2 inch below the badge to have it accept that I selected it and then drag it to the crew member to give t to him.

Well now that my captain has the badge, I can assign them no problem! Kinda odd, but if in the future I have the problem again I will attempt to pick it up at a different pixel.
