Escort back to base ?
 

My manual tells me I could order my radioman to call for a escort back to base if I am near an allied base. But the button for this never shows up.

So - is my radioman just too dumb or is this feature simply unavaiable... ?

(Didn't work in Kiel with my VIIB an doesn't work in Wilhelmshaven with my IIA ...)

Same here, can`t see any button to call escort....

Nobody can. It seems those features aren't available. :nope:

If you use the HT mod, you get a escort out of base, and one when you get back to bring you into base.

Call for a tow that will work. :yep:

I think its: Esc./exit patrol.

It was patched out in the first patch i think.

It was pretty usless and didnt work alot of the time.

I remember playing the game without any patch, because I was whainting for the 1.04b and never saw that option or the request for the orders. :stare:

As someone already said, I installed the Harbour Traffic Mod 1.45b the other night, now I depart from the sub-pens, get escourted through the minefields and subnets by an Armed trawler pas numerous vessels of all kinds going about their business including subs leaving and returning from patrol and when my escourt turns back I mark the spor on the map and on my return he will escourt me back to base. How cool is that

Thank you very much for your replies! A shame that this feature has been cancelled...and a sad thing too that there's no way to call a fighter escort...

Harbour Traffic Mod sounds good, but I've already installed the "Living SH3-Mod"...and I think a combination of both Mods is not possible...
