Dials go odd.

Hi all,
SH3's giving me hassle again
I've got all the interior dials in my IXb boot reading at the top of each dial, needles pointing at the top, so my battery reads half-way, the telegraph is just beyond ahead flank, speed reads 10 kts, shallow depth meter reads about 12 and deep depth about 130 etc. Also the in-sub torpedo controls are set like this and don't function.

The helmsman's reports are accurate as are the dials in the HUD and the TDC screen works, so I'm not disabled but I like to use the ones inthe u-boat itself, lends a bit of realism :yep: .

I was wondering if this had happened to anyone else and if they got it sorted. It seems to have occured after installing a few mods. I have bearings mod, sound environment mod, sound trainer, transparent torp background screen, and SH3 World installed.

It was fine when I was playing it earlier on with the mods installed then but now I've loaded my save game it's gone and done this.

My specs are:
AMD Athalon 1993 MHz
768 MB RAM
Nvidia 128 MB Graphics card

I'll try some trial and error, taking out one mod at a time, but I guess I better finish my patrol first.

Cheers for any help that you guys can give me!

This was a topic a while back Search for 12 o' clock dials or something like that

I am quite positive that this dial behavior is due to installation of the SH3 World mod. This mod tries to use the stock U-boats as AI vessels which leads to the known dials bug. You need to use the version of this mod without scripted-in AI subs. Such a version was around in these forums somewhere. Or remove those subs yourself from the campaign files.

Cheers guys, I took out the world mod after I got back to port and sure enough!

Thanks for your help
