how do i resuce a gov. daughter?
 

it says the Lt. was seen in santa catalania? so i went there but where do i go? i went there and its just the gov, the pub and shipright

When you get to the point that you've got to rescue the governor's daughter, the governor of the island from which the daughter came will tell you where the baddie is taking her and the name of the ship. After you glean this info from the governor, sail from the island and consult your world map. The bad guy is likely going to take a straight line course (more or less. Depending on the winds and your difficulty level, the bad guy might deviate a bit from the line to take advantage of the wind). Find the ship and take her down. Voila! The daughter is rescued.
