To the maker of "Blind Man's Tale"... sorta OT

I dont know if the average reader has seen "The Blind Man's Tale" movie made with Silent Hunter but it is definatly worth a look.

Anyhow.. I thought Id drop a note here to bring this ... http://www.machinima.org/ to his attention ! Or prehaps someone could bring it to his attention.

I hope this isnt considerd OT because I figured it would recieve the most attention here.

Not a problem for me - and thank you! :)

I'm well-aware of Machinima, and although I guess this video can be called somewhat of a Machinima, it's pretty basic on the whole and kind of outside of what I usually do with video editing. It's not much, technical-wise.

As far as editing goes, it's a hobby and something I do every once in a while. It's sort of like modding. I don't really like doing it (or even really don't like doing it), especially the quirky technical stuff behind it, but I like the results. Even then, I keep things simple.

I've since made a couple of camera mods for other SHIII movie makers to use (which I hope I will update in the next couple of days with some new features, etc.) - which I didn't think of at the time of making it - and with those available the possibilities for SHIII movies have really expanded. I hope to see some truly well-made (in the technical sense) videos for SHIII somewhere down the line.

As for my own plans, the only thing I kind of thought about is making an alternate SHIII intro movie or two. That might be a project for one of those weekends sometime :)

I suspected you would know about it but thought Id mention it because you created a nice piece of work there.

Good luck on your projects and keep us posted.
