OT: 1/72 U-boat models
Two 1/72 scale U-boat models that I know of:
Revell Type VIIc U-boat: http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=RG5015 MPM Type XXIII U-boat (coming soon): http://www.squadron.com/ItemDetails.asp?item=mpsn72001 |
Hey that's great i'm owning the VIIC allready and looking forward to XXIII
|
I've got the VIIC, trying to convert it to a Turm IV config with the dual twin 20mm mounts on the upper bridge and the 37mm on the wintergarden.
There's a conversion kit out now, but it's about $80 or so- plus, I've already started my version. |
Could you give me a reference to this conversionkit... :)
|
It was in the latest issue of Fine Scale Modeller magazine, I don't have it with me here at work.
|
okay well if you'll get home I'll be more than happy if you would do me a favor and point me in the right direction. :D
|
OT:
Glassair, do you have by the way a sister named Leontien de Vries working at a german Airline as stewardess ? :) |
Why what did you do with her? It's my wife :hulk:

I think some of these postings should either move to a completely different site (there are many of them) or be p.m.'s.....
They are as off topic as can be! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: |
Agreed.
Gentlemen, try this link:http://nautilusmodels.com/ Or this one if you want to scratchbuild it, which is what I'm doing:http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews...g_the_amat.htm |
Much obliged and looking great !
BTW Kaleun, Give Leontien my dearest regards, what a coincidence :hmm: |
