Real alarm sounds from 688 class
 

I have post some real alarm sounds from 688 class submarine in my website.

688PPALM.WAV = Power plant alarm

688dive to 688dive5 : dive alarm

688col.wav = Collision alarm

GQNEW.WAV = general quarter alarm

icalmwail.wav = IC/SM general alarm (flood, emergency)

Can be use for DW scenario :D

The dive alarm is from an Ohio SSBN. ;)

from my source they are complient with the "Submarine Intercommunication System AN/WIC" documents.

dive2 and dive5 are for 688 class submarine and 726 class, so I guess they were used on Los Angeles class.

The diving alarm and GQ alarms sound correct...

The Power Plant casualty alarm sounds similar to the 688(I), but not exactly the same... same with the Collision alarm.

In any case, I'm sure they can still be used in DW scenarios.

That specific diving sequince recording was from the USS Michigan SSBN 727 from an episode of NOVA titled "Submarine!"

what about a russian alarm pack ?

How long from St Peterbourg to Gadzhievo or Zapadnaya Litsa?
Take a voice recorder, enter the base then a Kilo (at Gaz) or an Akula (at Zapa) and sound GC, dive and all alarms, record them and run, run Forrest, run out the base :D :D :D :D :D

for a start akulas are based in gadzhievo vidzhievo and sevdvinsk only the typhoons deltas and boreys are based in zapadnya litsa and the only people who know where it is are the guys who work there.

all i know is zapadnya litsa is about 100km from the border of scandinavia and asking an offical well theres no point they deny the existance of zapadnya litsa

Yea or you can just look on goodle maps or encarta and find it.

Not that hard or that secret.

zapadnya litsa and lista gurba are two diffrent places litsa gurba is the bit marked on the map zapadnya litsa in inside a mountain coverd by steel doors :up:
