RuB Question
 

I'm thinking of trying out the RuB mod, but I've been put off by some the limitations, whilst at the same time I'm attracted by many others.

Does the mod have a selection screen, where you can decide what elements you want and don't want (ticks in boxes type thing)?

No, it hasn´t.
But included is a very good readme file.

does the next RUb come with improved convoys?

Yup.

And that`s the reason I`m awaiting it. But there`s another one and I don`t know IF someone faced such a problem: I canot load a savegame when using RUB. Shortly after initializing a campaign savegame the game crashes.

perhaps it has something to do with my WEIRD installation of the game: I`m using illegal copy of English SH III WITH 1.4 patch added and I keep playing it, using my original, bought Polish SH III CD.
The ONLY reason it`s made so is the fact that the company that has released SH III here STILL didn`t release the 1.4 patch ! Hard to believe, but it`s true. Oh, not to mention that SH III sailed here with just a three months delay...:(

Anyway, did someone met such problem ? Or am I the only unfortunate enough to expierience it ?
