I was wondering if you guys are aware of any plans to include the new Virginia class subs in a future Dangerous Waters update?

Maybe in DWX???

Anyway, a Virginia SSN would be a good and logical choice for an SSN playable add-on. That is if they want to build another playable SSN from the U.S. side.

I am new to the whole SC and DW scene, could you explain what DWX is? In the meantime I'll do a search.

:sunny: The previous simulation SC was adapted and developed in an add-on software package called SCX.

The SCX Project was a free modification crafted by private enthusiasts and it enhanced the simulation immensely.

The community eagerly awaits another enhacement of DW which will be called DWX. :|\

Others here can/will advise on timing but there is a lot of excitement and anticipation at a real treat on the way. :rock: :rock: :rock:

In that case I guess I'll join the rest of you in waiting for DWX. :up:

Another fine 'mod,' was/is SCU which again was a privately developed free mod. for SC.
This is a Sub Changer Utility (SCU) allowing the player to select from a fine extended range of subs.

Both SCX (SCX2 etc) and SCU can be downloaded from Bills superb 'Stocks the lot' site at :-

If you have SC get them both soonest and enjoy. :D

I do know that there won't be an SCU mod for DW. Sonalysts have determined that they want to build all playable add-ons for this sim. I fully respect their decision and wishes. While DWXwill put more NON-drivable platforms in the game, future Sonalysts produced add-ons will give us more drivables.

It will take time for both, but I know that both will be worth the wait. :up:
