Back after re-install

Greetings, shipmates. Just upgraded the gaming puter and reinstalled the best submarine simulator in the world, (well, IMO). Question I have today. I know there are a few, outstanding mods out there that add tons of things, however, at the same time, add a more intense, dangerous atmosphere. I'm slowly getting back into the tactics of the game and was wondering, minus the "whole package" mods, are there a few suggestions on a couple of "immersion" mods I can start out with to get myself going.

I'm looking for a few things .... sound updates (weather, inside sub, water), sea visuals, and possible crew speech improvements. I know there are some killer "all in included" mods, but most of those tend to add the "realistic, hard mode. I know you all are a very busy, hardworking group so any help would be appreciated. Thank you and Following Seas to all!!

in no particular order....

RFB (real fleet boat)
TMO ala Ducimus
FOTRSU aka Fall of the Rising Sun Ultimate

there are others but these come to mind first.

good luck!

Don't RFB and TMO drastically increase the difficulty of the game? I.e., "add a more intense, dangerous atmosphere" that Navigator wishes to avoid?

I'm in the same boat as you, coming back after a long hiatus and easing back into things. I've found this list of mods to be right up the alley you're looking for.
