Can someone help me?

Hello! Here are the questions, thanks for every answer!

1. Where is the silence meter? I can’t find it, even on the internet…

And which mod do you think is better- GWX3.Gold or Knight’s Cross?

I found SH3 just recently but I already like it a lot, I have the basic version for now and even that one is great in my opinion! I’m looking forward for the mods then even more. I think I know the reason why so many people know and play it even after so many years…

The noise meter is a green submarine towards the bottom of the screen. It is turned on and off in the difficulty settings. Most people have it turned off, but it's useful when learning.
There are many mods and compilation super mods available, see the pinned threads on the SH3 modifications forum. They each have their good points. Many people cook up their own "mod soup".
GWX KC is new and from (mostly) the same people as GWX gold all those years ago. I think it's safe to say it is a lot better, very well tested and VERY painless to install. See Wolfpack345 tutorial on Youtube. Your monitor/graphics card has to be able to support 1920x1080 for it to work.

I would say the only reason to use GWX3 Gold rather than GWX Knight's Cross would be if you have a very old PC that doesn't have much RAM, has a slow CPU and an old graphics card (or integrated GPU).

Having an SSD rather than an old HDD will also be a great benefit for running GWX KC or other megamods released in the last few years, so that you get faster loading times.

What are your pc specs?

I’d have to look (definitely can if needed) but I was buying a new graphics card and some things few months ago so I can play Rdr2 and it’s a good one, no problems with anything so I think it’s enough. I mainly just wanted to know what are the differences so I can decide but if it’s mostly that KC has better graphics then I’d get that one. Thank you a lot!

Thanks! I have it on but didn’t really use it anyway since I didn’t know where it actually is. For now I’ll get the KC and I can experiment later, when I know the game and my prefferences better. Sorry if I ask questions that were already answered somewhere but I couldn’t find the answers through Google search reliably and I’m still getting used to this website.

For GWX-KCE it's mostly can your Monitor handle 1920 X 1080
It runs on my Old Notebook but that is only 1600 x 900
So I have a 35' HDMI cable on the way to hook up my 75" 4K TV.

My laptop having a 1280x800 px screen, is it possible to play GWX-KC with a bigger external screen linked to my laptop ? :hmmm:

You should be able to use an HDMI cable to an external Screen that can handle 1920 X 1080

I had an external that would do that but gave it away. So I'm gonna hook into my TV which should handle it.

So my 35' HDMI cable arrived.
GWX-KCE on a 75" TV!
:yeah:

The blurry look is from my phone camera, not the TV.

Why girls were not allowed on uboats

To play GWXKC I sneak into my daughter's gaming cave when she is out.
28 processor cores plus an Nvidia 4070 driving a 31.5" 4K monitor! Woohoo!!

However I have to sit amidst a huge pile of cuddly toys and use a pink mouse on a pink cat mousepad plus a tiny shocking pink cat themed keyboard with no function keys or keypad. Still trying to find a key for rudder midships!

"I am sorry Fritz, but I did not realise that periscope depth was the pink cat footprint on the pink key with the pink symbols on it. I'm sure we can pump the water out and salvage the boat. What's the key for emergency blow? Let me guess... it's a pink one?"
