SH5 in 2024?
 

Any chance of getting it to work? I purchased from steam for my steam deck, and even downloading Ubisoft connect and linking my accounts, launching the game from connection… I was never able to get it to start. It still tried to go through uplay, and would obviously never connect and I could never download v1.2. Got a refund.

Anything I’m missing? I scoured through the forums and tried to follow the guides posted but never got it to work.

Don't know. Its seems Ubisoft left the game ?

i do not play SH5 but i know that UPlay is out.
Ubi uses a different game-connection-start utility but i cannot remember what it is called.
this has been the case for some years now.
perhaps one of the other players will contribute.

Definatly use Uplay for SH5 if you want to play modded, wich is the way to go anyway now

I play SH5 with TWoS and a lot of mods, via Ubi Connect and all works fine. I have the DVD version plus 1.2 update downloaded. The Ubi cloud works, I save the games in the cloud and in my PC.

Try with SH5 updated to 1.2 and add TWoS, It includes an Steam patch.

SH5 2024 is TWoS, or if you want to try it, Sobers megamod. Vanilla SH5 is...lost in patrol.
